Inspiring Korean singers

Went to a K-Pop concert with a few friends yesterday held at PGS hall. It was held in aid of IPOHBUG, an organization to encourage sports and healthy lifestyle in youths. After the president of IPOGBUG gave his speech, one of my friends said that what IPOHBUG is doing is really a good cause. When she was a youth, she said there's nothing much for her to get involve with (except at school). Yeah.. i agree with her that this is a good opportunity to bring youths together and know more friends.

What I really enjoyed about yesterday was the voice of the singers. They are really good! I wonder why they are not famous... They sung a number of korean drama songs and a few english songs. Though i don't understand what they were singing in Korean, the feelings and emotions they put in the music really grabbed your attention. And you can't stop admiring how great their voices are.

They started with "NOBODY" and the song really boost up the mood. When Brian Kim came out..all the girls went in front of the stage and started yelling. It was really an electrifying night. ;) The singers comprised of Brian Kim (american-korean singer & songwriter), Cho Hye-Ri (I like the way she sung "Little Mermaid"), Lee Yun Hwa (he got great potential, quite good-looking too), Noh A-Ram (funny guy he is..told us to check out his webpage at "www.iamcoffeeboy.com" and quite a handsome guy, :D) and Nae-Ri (she has a beautiful voice indeed!)

Lee Yun Hwa did a 'remix' of Girls Generation "Gee" & Mister. That was really awesome! :D They ended the night with "You Raise Me Up". Nice...

Here are some photos and short video to share :-

  1. Although I don't really listen to pop songs, but based on my listening experience to world ranked vocalist, their voices are simple brilliant. Just the matter of sponsors in order to bring them to a higher stage. Specially love "I miss You" by A-Ram and "Little Mermaid".
